March 12, 2009 Paid off the Mini Van.  Debt Snowball got a little bigger.

March 10, 2009 Sold the iPod Touch on eBay.  I’m crying on this one.

March 3, 2009 Shredded last three credit cards.  Will not use plastic or credit again.  Why was I holding on to them?

February 27, 2009 Just paid $334 on the van and that leaves us with about $500 left to pay mid-March.

February 18, 2009 Approximately one (1) van payment left.  I’ll update you in March 2009.  That’s over $500 a month to split for the debt snowball and maintaining the BEF.

June 3, 2008 I agreed to send my youngest boy to youth camp for a week at a cost of about $150. OUCH!

June 2, 2008 saw the closing of the Best Buy account now with a $0 balance after transfer to DiscoverCard.  I check with IRS via the 1-800 number to get info on when and how much my Rebate check would be.  I should expect it to be mailed on June 13th.

May 30th, 2008 completed Balance Transfer of approx. <$2k for Bestbuy to DiscoverCard. I had to send an extra $17.70 because the payoff didn’t make it before a new statment was generated.

The transfer deal is 5% through November 2008 and it cost me $58.

So since January 2008 I have closed out two accounts with BT and paid off one of those BTs.  Two less credit card accounts and no new debt.

May 29th, 2008 approximately $120,000 non-mortgage debt.
